Joseph was born in Spain and raised in Houston, Texas. Following graduation from Klein Forest High School, Joseph earned his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and his law degree from St. Mary’s University. While attending law school, Joseph clerked for a medical malpractice firm and served as a staff writer for the St. Mary’s Law Journal.
As a younger lawyer with the firm, Joseph gained invaluable jury trial experience, trying over 300 jury trials in the municipal and justice of the peace courts, enjoying countless not guilty verdicts. Joseph’s practice is now exclusively focused on representing clients charged with more serious crimes, with an emphasis on DWI, drug possession, assault, and theft. His Spanish fluency is a tremendous asset in terms of being able to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking clients. Joseph enjoys the role of trial advocate and takes pride in vigorously defending his clients’ constitutional rights. He has an extremely busy trial docket and is honored to stand before juries in order to fight for his clients’ freedom.
Joseph is engaged to be married and enjoys running, reading, and playing sports in his spare time.
